Charles Chinedum Chikezie, Esq.
Charles Chinedum Chikezie, Esq., known affectionately as "C.C.," hails from Ntigha, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area in Abia State, Nigeria. He is the third of seven siblings born to Eze John Ibekwe Nna Chikezie, K.S.M., and the late Ugoeze Alice Ezinwanyi Chikezie (née Osuagwu). Chikezie resides in Orange, New Jersey, with his wife, Barbara, and their two sons, Nnamdi and Ikenna. He holds degrees in Media Arts from New Jersey City University, Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology, a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law, and an LL.M. from Temple University.
Professionally, Chikezie has had a notable career in journalism and law. He started as a reporter in Owerri, Nigeria, and later became the Founding Editor of the "Rising Sun," a newsletter for Nigerians in the Americas. Currently, he is a solo legal practitioner specializing in First and Fourth Amendment jurisprudence, with a published case in the New Jersey Superior Court Report. His extensive community service includes roles such as former Secretary General of the World Igbo Congress and President of the Igbo Bu Igbo organization. He is also the recipient of numerous awards for his contributions to the Nigerian and Igbo communities in the U.S. Some of the awards includes:
