Our Mission

Umuada Igbo, New Jersey Inc. is a non-profit organization rooted in the traditional Igbo cultural values of unity, compassion, and community support. Established with the mission to promote peace, love, and harmony among its members, the organization also focuses on uplifting the less privileged by fostering education and providing financial assistance. Through scholarships and community-driven initiatives, Umuada Igbo, New Jersey Inc. works tirelessly to empower children and young people with the tools they need for academic success. The organization also addresses critical social issues such as poverty alleviation by organizing fundraisers, financial donations, and other communal activities aimed at supporting vulnerable populations, thus strengthening both cultural ties and humanitarian efforts within and beyond the Igbo community and in diaspora.
